Barry Worthington's Award-Winning "Prove" Official Submission to Palm Springs ShortFest Film Market

Through Limitless Films, Barry Worthington's newest International Award-Winning short film Prove, completed in August 2022, has become an Official Submission to the 2023 Palm Springs International ShortFest Film Market. The Palm Springs International ShortFest is an Academy Award Qualifying-Festival, as well as BAFTA and Canadian Screen Award Qualifying from June 20th-June 26th, 2023, and the Film Market runs alongside it.


To date, the short film, described as a drama with supernatural elements, has earned 9 international film festival Official Selections, Screenings, Awards, and Honors. Similar to previous films in Worthington's filmography, the film has connected with international audiences and festivals spanning from Los Angeles, CA, Palm Beach, FL, Berkeley Springs, WV, Tokyo, Japan, Mumbai, India, Paris, France, and more. The logline for the film reads, " Traffic brings a struggling salesman's dream of being at his first baby's birth to a hard stop, when he receives a haunted and bullying phone call from his estranged dead father."


The film is Worthington's 9th short since founding Limitless Films, LLC in August of 2010, and has helped earn over 140 international film festival accolades for Worthington's entire filmography since that time. Worthington has also recently completed his 10th short Mirror Mind, and is wrapping up an 11th short while crafting future projects, including features.
